What are the pros and cons of living here? How does it compare to the areas around?

  • Some areas of central Havant are very nice (actually a bit posh) but there are a lot of rougher areas as well on the outskirts. Some pubs can see some trouble on friday/saturday night but generally very nice selection of more historic pubs, some restaurants, lots of takeaways. There are good supermarkets and shops - a new retail park. Location is good for travelling up the A3 road and into Portsmouth. You can walk to the beach (and two nice pubs) on the Hayling Billy Line path. Pros: good location, attractive town centre, good facilities, train and bus stations, night life. Cons: not many.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
