Ex council 3 bed property in Allendale Ave.

I have, along with my young children, inherited a ex council 3 bed mid terraced house from my mother who recently passed away from cancer in Allendale Avenue. It is rented out at £1500pcm - should I sell it or hang onto it and await growth from crossrail? I don't know the area and so have no feel for it if it is a good long term investment for my children.

  • Sorry to hear about your mother. This would really depend on your own objectives - holding property is always a good idea especially if you can achieve a healthy level of rent. As the property is close to a Crossrail station, you are well positioned to benefit from good tenants. All the best
