What is it like to live in Warboys village PE28?

We are just buying a house in Warboys. Don't know much about the village or area. What is it like really? Good and bad points please.

  • Very quiet village, only two pubs, one takeaway (chinese/fish and chips), people friendlyish. More in Ramsey the next village/town - supermarkets, more pubs, takeaways, not much else. Can be some trouble with the youth, more so in Ramsey than Warboys. Warboys has some history with witches, you will see the stickers on cars and school uniform, more on net about it. Email me if you wanna know more.

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.

  • Village is a thriving community with several shops and a good garage. It has won Cambridgeshire Village of the Year three times in the last decade. This led to a Royal visit to Warboys in 2010 to acknowledge the community spirit. There are over 50 active associations and clubs to suit all ages and interests. There are 3 churches that all have good congregations and work together, and two pubs. There is a busy and well supported library. The school is doing well and is popular by parents.
