Lincolnshire or not?

I am looking for a reasonably priced friendly area to move to where there may be a chance of some part time work, any ideas? I have travelled to a few areas and quite liked some parts of Lincolnshire.

  • I would suggest Lincoln work from the city centre outwards. Over the last 15 years its seen huge improvements, is still reasonably price. The university has brought benefits and inward investment into the area. Moving out of Lincoln to the villages is also no problem with easy transportation into out of town shopping areas and the city.

  • Lincolnshire is a very rural county with lots of fenland which can be a bit bleak in the winters. But if you like the quiet life and don't need to be very close to amazing shopping then it's fine. Lincoln is a charming, very small city. Boston & Spalding are ok so long as you don't have massive expectations. There's a outlet village in Spalding if memory serves. Apologies to any Lincs dwellers if any of that is offensive!
