What is it like to live in Hanwell (Ealing)?

Hi everyone, I am thinking of buying my first property. I have come across a lovely Grade II listed property in Hanwell in the borough of Ealing. I want to know in terms of safety, is Hanwell a safe place for me and my wife to live? Are the people decent? Is there a lot of crime? When walking home late, do you feel safe? etc. I would love to hear from the people who live there, work there or who go there very often. Thanks in advance...

  • Hello, Hopefully someone local will be able to to give you something more specific - but, Hanwell is on the Crossrail 1 (with fast connections to Central London) and has therefore become increasingly attractive in recent years. If you Google "Property Wizza 2.0", "Property Detective", "Street Check", "Find a Hood" and "UK Local Area" you should find some useful information.
