  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

  • Overall, a very poor area of Manchester, mostly council housing. Very cheap property there, probably the cheapest in Greater Manchester. Not ethnic, mostly very long term white working class. Good transport links to Bolton and Manchester

  • I find it ok, just moved back to the area after about 4 years away. It is much better than some of the reviews on other sites have given it

  • Been living in little Hulton for a few years since moving back in. The area has absolutely been transformed. The council has invested millions into all the council properties new roofs, windows, kitchens etc.new street lighting. There has also been many new build houses around here and continuing to pop up, so becoming very popular to live here with people. Walkden Ellesmere town centre down the road is now a massive modern shopping centre with plenty of well known shops including the biggest Tesco extra in England. Less than a 1\2 mile up the A6 is a new massive 270 million pound manufacturing logistics hub which has created thousands of jobs. From over 15 years ago and now it seems many people are trying to and have located into little Hulton due to much investment in the area including good transport links into Manchester Bolton leigh. Little Hulton is very different now compared before in a positive way. It isn't as cheap to buy a house now I've noticed probably because all the regeneration works that are going on.
