Where to buy in North East Manchester?

Hello, I've recently completed on a property sale in Higher Blackley and I'm looking for a family home in Manchester at around £200k+ price level. I'm not from around here originally so would appreciate some guidance. So far, I've been looking in the following areas: -Prestwich, -Whitefield, -Chadderton, -Alkrington Garden Village. With an input from a friend, I extended it to the following areas: -Audenshaw, -Denton, -Gee Cross, -Woodhouses What I'm looking for is a modern (ready to move into) semi or detached, 3 bed house with 3 beds and a driveway. Quiet location is key so as decent commute to Manchester (I currently cycle but that might change) and to Castleton (my partner drives). Ideally, I'm looking for a Freehold property. There isn't much coming into the market at the moment so I'm looking to consider wider area. I'd very much appreciate all input.

  • Hello Greg - Hopefully someone local to the area will be able to to give you something more specific - but, in the mean time, if you Google "Property Wizza 2.0", "Property Detective", "Street Check", "Find a Hood" and "UK Local Area" you should find some useful information.
