"No chain on properties"?

Hi there, what does no chain mean?

  • No chain generally means the seller has somewhere to go, with no delay in moving their end. It could be the seller is moving into an empty property, has already bought another property, going into rented accommodation, moving in with family etc… So a sale is straight forward without long delays, as long as the buyer is in the same position.

  • Hi, Chain free or no chain means that there is no upward chain so that the seller of the property is not needing to look for a different property to buy / rent before they move out meaning your move in date is entirely up to yourself.
