  • Spring is usually the best time, but now is as good a time as any. August can be slow due to the school holidays, but most buyers want to be in a new home before Christmas. Marketing property whilst there are more daylight hours and gardens are looking their best is a good idea.

  • Get your price correct - that's the most important thing, closely followed by the way it's presented .... anyone thinking of selling your property .. please read this ... if a wall is more than 2 years since it was emulsioned - paint it (don't worry about skirtings unless awful) carpets - if the carpet is more than 5 years old replace with something inexpensive with posh underlay in cream or beige and declutter - and I mean declutter and you will sell - even in this market .. trust me

  • Personally I think April/May but everyone’s opinion is different. The market generally starts to pick up after the quieter winter months with April being the most positive period in my opinion.
