What is a Dolly House

I am thinking of buying a house in Plymouth and some of them are called Dolly Houses. What does this mean?

  • A Dolly House quite simply is a style of house, if you can imagine a child drawing a house with the front door in the middle and windows either side of the door that is a Dolly House.

  • They are usually modern properties, not older houses. Front door in the middle, windows either side, just like a typical dolls' house.
