  • I have seen one property come up in Plymouth before, and one in Bere Alston. They are much rarer in Devon than East Cornwall, but inevitably some Cornish builders were working in West Devon in the period before the 1960s, so it can happen. If you have concerns about a property, there are several local testers who can survey it.
