  • Hi ebbie, when it comes to calculating what you are obligated to pay for council tax, it actually matters what size and property type you have as much as where you live, as these matters are dealt with by the Valuations Office Agency (VOA). All bills are calculated based on what a home would have cost in 1991. For Foxhill Close in Northwich, I have conducted a quick check on the VOA website, and added a link to the bottom of this page. As you will see from this, the price of council tax is dependent on which house on the street you live in, with the tax bands being either C or F. A quick check on the Cheshire West and Chester Council website shows that this means the price will either be £1,399.63 or £2,274.39 per year. Many thanks, Scott

  • Hi, For any queries in regards to council tax, we would advice that you speak to the local council for that area who will be able to provide you with details of what band the property is in and the costs for this. We would suggest when in contact with them that you state your full situation, such as if you are the sole occupant etc as in that instance you would be eligible for a 25% deduction. We hope this helps
