Advice for cash buyer?

If I am a cash buyer and have no chain, how much should I try and reduce the price of a property if I want to buy it?

  • Hello Deborah - although you certainly are in a good position, it would really depend on local market conditions. The seller may also be willing to wait for a mortgaged buyer if it means that they will be achieving a better price. The fact that you are a cash buyer with no chain is definitely worth mentioning to the estate agents and also when you make your offers as it may tip the balance in your favour. Best of luck with your search.
