If unfurnished, can you get a grant of benefits?

If a bedsit is bare with no bed, no covers, curtains or proper nets for windows, my own cups and plates do i get help with that from benefits?

  • Hello, Unfortunately not, housing benefit is for the actual rent only. Did the landlord advertise the property as furnished or is it in the contract? Thanks, Ruban
