Development of garden space

We have a very large garden with plenty of room. We would like to use the space to develop additional space such as a small gym, a children's playroom, a study etc. Each could fit inside a shed type building. What are the planning restrictions on such developments?

  • Hey Richard, In general, some structures such as wooden sheds don’t need planning as they are temporary. Ask your planning dept. first though, just in case. They are usually very helpful.
