Who supplies latest sale price?

The last sale price is given when looking at property. Is this the price registered with The Land Registry i.e is it verified?

  • Hello - it would really depend where you are looking. On the Zoopla listings for example, if a property is marked as "sold", the actual price it is purchased for may not be the same (as the final purchase price may negotiated up or downwards). You may want to double check actual sales values by entering the details of the property via the "House prices & values" tab on the Zoopla homepage. Note that there is usually a 2 month time lag for properties to appear in the public domain via the Land Registry.
