I need the price a house sold for in 1987
I sold a house in 1987 132 leslie rd ell 4hg the house was part of a divorce settlement after divorce I sold it, but ive lost all the papers, Im trying to write a will but need to know the price I got for it in order to bequeath that amount to my son.

I think you have to write into them, I believe they only exist post 2000 and the Internet. Also it will be on the title document along with any charges by the mortgager. Your bank may have a copy (assuming it wasn't a cash purchase). It's one of the most important things a lender looks at for Lvt. I assume you now have the deeds. Can you let me know as I've got an interest in a house bought in 1986, and I think the Land Registry just can't be bothered hunting through the acres of paper.

Hello, This information is hard to come by as Land Registry data only goes back to 1995. I would suggest speaking to a local surveyor who should be able to give you a reasonably accurate figure. Thanks, Ruban
