Would a corner property adjacent to an A road be a negative factor?
The property that I am interested to purchase is right next to an A-road. Should that be a factor when I put down an offer? I don't think much noise is getting in, but it being in the corner, is quite exposed to the road and may not be that secure - from a theft/ burglary perspective? Also, would this have a bearing on my energy bill? It is semi-detached, but since its in the corner, I am afraid the electricity/ gas bill will shoot up overall to keep the property warm? If I have to quote lesser due to the above factors, can you give me a general indication as to how much should I take off the offer price?
