What will be the property market in next few years?

  • Personally I feel the market will only continue to strengthen, however the market is never easy to predict.

  • I think the market will improve over the next five years or so, but it will happen slowly. It could be ten years before we see things return to where they were in 2007.

  • I think in the short term, it'll be bleak! It is a good time to upsize property and grab a bargain. I would hate to be downsizing though! I think it is a good time to sell for some people, plenty of properties at auction going cheap, a great opportunity to get exactly what you want on a smaller budget. Once property prices rise, it doesn't bode well for anyone wanting to upsize, only those freeing up equity.

  • Agree with the answers above, I think it's only going to strengthen. It's only an estimation, but I believe it will get better. You will also need to consider the areas in which you are enquiring about.
