Buying a part exchange house from a property developer
We have offered the asking price on a house which is being sold by a well known developer and this was accepted. We have now got our survey reports back and have discovered that the property needs rewiring at a cost of £3,800. This wasnt something that we calculated or we were made aware of i have approached the agent to try and negotiate this but they said that part ex properties are 'bought as seen' and they are not prepared to negotiate is this the case when buying part ex proprties?
