How much value would be added to a mid terrace in Rickleton by converting the loft making it a 4 bed 2 bath?

Most 4 bed homes in Rickleton seem to be detached so difficult to get a handle on how much value would be added to a terraced house, especially one that doesn't have a garage.

  • Hi, With something like this, it will all boil down to what it adds compared to the area in general. What I mean by that is that it can be far better to match what you have to what the people who are likely to be buying in the area are looking for. If your homes in this town are normally being pitched at new buyers, for example, they are likely to be smaller families, and four bedrooms may not be worth all that much, but if you are pitching at larger families normally, then the added room can be a real selling point, and it will really help to increase the value of the property you are trying to sell. The best way to gauge what it will add in terms of price is to look at bringing in a surveyor or a local estate agent. They will know the area better than anyone else, and they can tell you, before you even carry out the work, what they think it will add by carrying this out. Many thanks, Scott
