Can I rent with bad credit score?

I have a bad credit score (301), and I am being evicted due to the landlord selling. I have never missed ANY rent payments, and they will provide a very good reference regarding my tenancy. I cannot afford six months up front, what are my chances? I have a quite highly monthly income of About £2500. My back up is moving into a private house share until I can recover my credit score. Any help would be very welcome.

  • Hello, You have a few things on your side here but the credit score is likely to be an issue. Can you get a guarantor in place? Thanks, Ruban

  • I always use this rule "No is always guaranteed" so why not to just go and ask :) There is always a chance! All depends on how you present the situation. You just need to understand what you need exactly and tell it, the rest will be decided by owners, banks if needed and so on.
