Does being a student affect you renting property?

  • Hi LianaGohery, Many landlords don't mind if you're a student, as long as you can get a guarantor for your property. Sometimes this isn't the case, but it's always the case if you're still under the age of 18 when you start renting. If you're able to prove you have an income, like from a part time job, that could also help you with a landlord who's a bit worried about renting to students. Many thanks, Dan
