Do renters normally negotiate on price?

I'm about to look for a new property to rent. Whilst renting the property that I am currently in (4 yrs), I have noticed that similar properties in my immediate area are cheaper. I would like to rent a new build apartment but the rents are extremely high with little space.

  • Hi, If you are looking to rent through a private landlord, it may be the case that they are more flexible with pricing. However on the forefront rental values are usually made up in order to cover costs and expenditures for landlords and therefore is usually set as a standard. However you can always ask the agent who is advertising the property. We hope this helps.
