  • Well you don't use Zoopla for a start, as it is a portal used by agents alone. But do a search of Google, and you will find a great many classified sites, where you will find an landlord advertising their properties. But the question worth asking is "why do you not want to go through a letting agent?". As any good letting agent is here to help you, as well as the landlords. Whereas you may spend hours searching for different properties with different landlords, a letting agent will have loads already available to look at. And you may find yourself missing out on some great properties, just because you don't want to use a letting agent.

  • Look in the private classifieds section of your local property paper, or possibly if it covers your area. Check newsagent windows for local ads.
