  • Most insurers may be able to estimate the age of your property. However, any easy way to find out is by using www.mouseprice.com. If you type in your postcode, it may be able to tell you when the property was built. Failing this, speak to neighbours, check previous sales paperwork, or speak to your Landlord if the property is rented.

  • Also you can approach a local surveyor firm. You may also want to check the Deeds and other conveyance documentation.
