  • Hi brian, To find out what you could bring in for your rental property, the best tactic to use is to look at what other people in the area are asking for for their homes and then pitch your own at somewhere near this in order to make sure you can be competitive in the marketplace. The best way to do this is to use the Zoopla website. If you look at the top of this page, you will see a tab called "sold prices". If you hover over this then click on the dropdown menu option called "area stats" then you will be able to find all of the information you need. On the area stats page, you will see two tables with orange text for pricing details. The second of these will show you the breakdown of asking prices for rental homes in the area, divided by property types and sizes. If you know the size and type of property you are referring to, then you will be able to see the current average that people letting these are looking for at the moment, and this should give you a decent indicator of what you should be charging for your own property. Many thanks, Scott
