  • This varies on the landlord. Some will not accept bankrupts however some landlords are more forgiving and accept applicants on an individual basis. If the property is with an Estate Agent, best to be upfront so you don't waste any more with an application. Hope that helps.

  • As Cormack says, be upfront. Also, is there anything you can offer to "grease the wheels"? Often landlords can be more amenable if you can pay some months rent in advance or provide a guarantor.
