Where can I find short lets?

I need a 2 bedroom from February 1st to May 15 for my family of 4. The prices on this website are per week. Does that mean I can rent for less than 6 months?

  • It is possible to find short lets through most estate agencies. The only problem you may find is that when you are looking to rent for a term less than 6 months, this is often classified as a premium let. The landlord may ask for a higher rent than what the apartment is being marketed for, because of knowing he is not going to be recieving a rental income for a longer period of time.

  • Short term rentals can be found on websites - like the one I work for, actually - such as It does however depend on your definition of 'short term', for instance, we specialize in 3 week to 6 month stays. Any shorter than that, and you may need to look for 'holiday lets', which are different.

  • To find property in London for short term rent (few days - 6 month), you need to search for specific websites, otherwise in UK it's minimum term of 6 month.
