  • Try and contact local letting agents who can come around and a rental valuation for you (usually free of charge) as they have the best knowledge of local area and how much properties can be let for

  • Hi sashwell, You can find out the latest average asking prices for any area in the UK by using the Zoopla website, where the figures are drawn from the general prices on offer in that region at the current time. To find this page, you need to click on the tab at the top of the page that says 'sold prices' and choose the second option from the drop-down menu, called 'area stats'. From here, you need to scroll down and you will find a table that shows you the average of what landlords are asking for at the moment. This is broken into house types and sizes to allow you a more accurate insight. From this, you can see that a three-bedroom flat in your area should bring in an average of around £2,603 per calendar month. Your alternative options are to shop around and just see what others are charging in the area for similar properties or ask letting agents what they see as being the main trends around where your property is situated. Many thanks, Scott
