Can a part-time employee rent a property?

I want to know if there are agencies in Northampton that let properties to part-time employees, without asking for absurd amounts of money (6 months rent in advance, etc.), or guarantors?

  • Yes, there should be as long as you have a sufficient amount of income to cover the rent. The ball-park figure is a third of your take-home pay should be able to cover it. It's rare for landlords to ask for 6 months rent or guarantors unless there are any issues with your credit file.
