If my gross income was £22,300 a year, would I be able to rent a property around £600 a month?

  • Hello Kayleigh, The general rule of thumb is a third of your take home (net pay) should be able to afford the rent so you might have to go for something a little cheaper. Have a chat with some agencies though as this is not a hard and fast rule. If you can get a guarantor and have references, it will also help. Good luck, Ruban
