Can I rent a property without a guarantor?

I am looking for a 3 bedroom private property within Plymouth City Centre. That will except housing benefit without a guarantor? I can get a deposit together.

  • Hi, Basically, the answer is, you don’t have to have a guarantor. Once you are over 18, you can sign any contract. Of course, that assumes that somebody will be happy to put you into the property without a guarantor. The best thing to do would be to ask if you could rent without a guarantor. Regards, Jonathan :-)
