Let agreed but can we still make an offer?

Due to certain circumstances I need to move out of my parents house by August and myself and my girlfriend found the perfect house to rent for us and went to view it. But just under a week later it was taken down from both Zoopla and Rightmove so we were at a loss for a bit we've still being going viewings for other properties but nothings really been great. Now the same property has come back on both sites but under 'Let Agreed'. We're going on Wednesday to the estate agents office (that's when I get paid next) to see if there still taking offers? I'll be able to pay the deposit, the admin fees and first month rent by then so should we go for it? I rang up a couple of days ago saying I was still interested and told them who I was (I've only viewed that particular property from this estate agency) and they said as long as I have all the money for the fees I should be okay. Will I need to offer more money for a better chance of getting the place?

  • Hello - it would really depend on how committed the other party is. If, for example, they have paid a reservation fee then it may be difficult for you to secure the property as they will be given priority. Hope things work out for you both.
