Father on pension credit to act as a guarantor?

My father is willing to stand as my guarantor for a rented property. He can afford to cover my rent should I fall into arrears, however, he receives pension credit himself. Does anyone know whether he would still be considered to act as my guarantor given that he receives a benefit? TIA

  • Hello - usually not unfortunately, as most lettings agents / landlords would require the guarantor to be in employment. Are you in employment yourself?
