Any parts of Keynsham to avoid?

We're looking at Keynsham as one of the areas we'd like to buy in, along with Hanham, St George and Fishponds. I've seen a few decent looking 2-3 beds listed there. Not knowing Keynsham at all apart from the high street, are there any areas to avoid? Most of the properties I've seen listed are around 15min walk west of the high street - looks no worse than parts of Knowle (where I live at the moment) but wondering why it seems so much cheaper that side of things? Also, we both need to commute into central Bristol. I'm guessing the buses take longer that predicted during rush hour, but hoping with the train as well, there's a few options?

  • Hello - Hopefully someone local to Keynsham will be able to to give you something more definitive - but, in the mean time, if you Google "Property Wizza 2.0", "Property Detective", "Street Check", "Find a Hood" and "UK Local Area" you should find some useful information. Best of luck with your search.
