We haven't signed or even seen a contract, still liable for intro fees?

Hi, we're looking to change from our current high street agent to an online agent. We want to changeover this weekend but have had two viewings come forward for tomorrow with our current agent. The online agent is vastly cheaper but we don't want to miss out on these potential viewers by cancelling them. We have never signed or even seen a contract from our current agents so would we be liable for intro fees if we stopped using the agent after the viewings, the parties came forward with an offer through the new online agent?

  • Hi John, The 1st agent should have confirmed everything in writing. I doubt they could enforce a fee! Good luck! Jonathan :-)
