Fees for selling current property

I would like to get the costs of the selling fees for our current property

  • Hello Martine - this would depend on the estate agent, you're usually looking around anything from 0.5 to 3%. Note that online estate agencies tend to charge an up front fee, which can work out cheaper (as you're not paying commission on the sales value).

  • Well it depends on the location, the property size, the expenses made prior to selling in the property and many other different factors that you can consider. Majority, the financial aspect is the most important thing to consider.

  • If you're considering selling your property at auction the fees are in the region of 2%+VAT for the auctioneers commission. Some auctioneers also charge an entry fee of a few hundred pounds.
