Reporting this answer: Hi Greg, One thing you may want to check is whether your agent is marketing the property correctly. Sometimes it can have to do with the property not being valued accurately (usually too high) or the marketing not being up to scratch. One thing I would do is check the agent's performance in your area. At you can check the local market share (high market share meaning that buyers interested in your area will be attracted to that agent due to high stock) and also the percentage of the asking price achieved (which is essentially a measure of how good a valuer an agent is). It's a free service without any obligation on you to do anything at all. But hopefully it will give you an idea of whether your agent is good at their job or give you an idea of which agent is actually doing really well in your local area.
