If Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster Barbie film has got you thinking pink, then check out these dream houses for sale.

We’ve used our Kenergy to scour the market and bring you seven homes that are fabulous in fuschia and will be the envy of your friends.

You too can have your very own perfect life in Barbieland.

Are Barbie dream houses real?

As real as Realtor Barbie and available for you to buy from £265,000 to £4 million.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a home with a slide from the bedroom straight to the pool – but as Realtor Barbie knows, you should always look for opportunities to add value later.

Be assured, in all seven of these dream houses the stairs will hold your weight and the water in the swimming pools is genuine.

As Barbie says, the real world is not perfect, but it can still be inspiring…

1. Two-bed dream house, Vale Do Lobo, Loulé, Algarve, £951,345 (€1,100m)

Two-bed dream house, Vale Do Lobo, Loulé, Algarve, £951,345 (€1,100m)

The Malibu dream house-effect is hard to achieve in the UK. We don’t always have the sunshine or the impossibly blue seas.

Luckily, you can find the perfect Barbie house just a quick flight in the Dreamplane away in the Algarve region of Portugal.

It comes complete with three swimming pools (one of which could easily accommodate a slide from your bedroom), a swish entertainment area and plenty of balconies for sunbathing.

Plus, with marble floors and surfaces almost as shiny as Ken’s aviators, it offers ample opportunity to reflect your Barbie greatness.

Available from: Cluttons Overseas

2. Five-bedroom detached house, St. Ippolyts, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, £2m

Five-bedroom detached house, St. Ippolyts, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, £2m

Barbiecore meets cottagecore in this stunning home which is more of delicate blush pink than full-on fuschia.

With extensive gardens and a driveway with room for Barbie to park at least five Corvettes, it’s the perfect countryside retreat.

If Barbie lets him, Ken can keep his surfboards in one of the two generous outhouses.

Better still, it has only one flight of stairs for such an unusually large home. An advantage if you don’t have any knees.

Available from: Savills - Harpenden

3. Eleven-bedroom mansion, Hitchin Road, Gosmore, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, £4.25m

Eleven-bedroom mansion, Hitchin Road, Gosmore, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, £4.25m

Turns out Hitchin is a hotspot for high-achieving Barbies. You can have a view over all of Barbieland from this mega mansion with 11 bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

With more than two-acres of land and 10,000sq ft of house, you can invite all the other Barbies and Kens to come and stay for the weekend.

It has a bright blue outdoor swimming pool and converted stables for Ken to keep his favourite horses (if Barbie lets him).

This house dates from the early 16th century, so it’s even older than 1959 when Barbie was born.

Available from: Savills - Harpenden

4. Four-bedroom terraced house, Albion Road, Dalston, London, £1.95m

Four-bedroom terraced house, Albion Road, Dalston, London, £1.95m

London-based Barbie might have to disguise herself behind a more muted exterior. But inside this dream home it is a riot of maximalist colour (well, pinks).

Think gold ceilings, bubblegum light fixtures, animal print wallpaper, oversized tropical patterns and the hottest shades of pink available.

Your new pink bedroom, pink bathroom and the pinkest dining room we’ve ever seen should get any Barbie feeling in the pink.

We would recommend that (like Ken) you bring two pairs of sunglasses when you view it.

Available from: Unique Property Company London Ltd

5. Two-bedroom house, Cloudberry Cottage, Coddenham, Suffolk, £265,000

Two-bedroom house, Cloudberry Cottage, Coddenham, Suffolk, £265,000

This 612 sq ft home is almost as miniature as the Barbie Dream House your neighbour had in the ‘80s and which you were so jealous of you broke off the staircase.

The home is perfect for Barbies who don’t want to have to share. Or, alternatively, if Barbie allows it, it could be a place for Ken to be 'just Ken' in.

Outside, the shade of pink is specific to Suffolk - Porter Pink by Claybrook Studio - and the wooden windows are Tuscan Artichoke.

The pink exterior is offset by an interior composed mostly of muted ice cream colours, with original oak beams and tiny doorways.

The thatched roof is super cute. The little porch has space for hanging coats and kicking off plastic pink stilletos.

Available from: Inigo

6. Six-bedroom mansion, Eckington, Pershore, Worcestershire, £1.75m

Six-bedroom mansion, Eckington, Pershore, Worcestershire, £1.75m

This tasteful shell pink mansion comes with almost four acres of manicured grounds plus an extra little cottage in the grounds for Barbie’s mum to live in.

With six-bedrooms, some epic-scale entertainment spaces and a dining room which opens out onto an orangery, this is one high end doll’s house.

It has sweeping four-acres of land with stunning details, including ornamental gardens and a ha-ha. Plus, there’s a helipad for when Barbie wants to take her helicopter out for a spin.

Electric gates open to a drive flanked by lime trees which leads to a resin self-draining car park and a double garage with an electric up and over door.

The home dates back to the 1900s but has been extensively updated to move with the times – much like Barbie herself.

Available from: Knight Frank - Worcester Sales

7. Two-bedroom terraced house, St. Lukes Mews, Notting Hill, London, £2.5m

Two-bedroom terraced house, St. Lukes Mews, Notting Hill, London, £2.5m

This dinky home is ideal for when Barbie needs somewhere to rest her head in a leafy but central part of London, say after attending the premiere of her brand new film.

Mews houses were originally built to house carriages and drivers for bigger houses, but not that many of London’s famous mews streets remain in 2023.

This pink beauty might look small on the outside but it’s actually pretty spacious at 1,800 sq ft.

Most of the ground floor is garage space and there’s a tiny bedroom for when Ken has run out of Kenergy and needs to recharge.

The main bedroom is spacious and has a large en suite plus a door leading to a separate walk-in wardrobe. Perfect for planning perfect Barbie outfits, or storing Ken’s faux mink coats.
