Among the millions of property searches on Zoopla last month, a pot pourri of overseas homes caught your eye. From Alicante to the Algarve, and Texas to Tuscany, here's your top 10 most clicked-on...

1. Three-bed chalet for sale in Alicante, Spain for £257,851

Top of the lot is this new-build, three-bedroomed chalet in Alicante. Situated in a golf resort on the south of Costa Blanca, it boasts a large luxury living area which opens on to a spacious courtyard with a pool. But probably the most eye-catching aspect is the price-tag. It'd be a long hunt for a home like this for under £260,000 in the UK.

2. Three-bed villa for sale in Florida, United States for £190,676

If you thought the Alicante home was good value, then what about nipping across the Pond for this modern three-bed villa in Florida for under £200,000? With a large south-facing garden, enclosed pool and a large double-garage, it resides in a quiet cul-de-sac with views over a lake and golf course.

One of our favourites this month, you could choose to sleep in a different bedroom a night for almost three weeks. Steeped in history, this 16th-century castle has entertained French royalty throughout the centuries and boasts huge vaulted ceilings, landscaped parks, and even has its own chapel.
