This year's X Factor finalists were unveiled at the weekend - and rest assured their crib is as plush as ever. Come with us and take a peek inside...

Where is the house?

The glitzy seven-bedroom mansion sits in the exclusive enclave of Hadley Wood, north west London – tantalisingly close to last year’s X Factor pad.

Hadley Wood is full of footballer-style homes – and it will certainly feel like 'home' to X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who lived in the area when she was married to defender Ashley Cole.

Hadley Wood offers the best of both worlds: the Big Smoke lies 11 miles south, while the Hertfordshire countryside is only a stone's throw away to the north.

Why exactly is the house featured in the X Factor?

The sprawling property is where this year’s 12 X Factor finalists will be living in the final nail-biting stages of the competition aired on ITV. They moved in after X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Nick Grimshaw, Rita Ora and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini selected their three finalists in each category at the weekend.

What's the house like?

The new-build mansion is set behind wrought iron gates – useful to keep the paparazzi at bay – on one of the smartest roads in the area.

As well as the seven bedrooms, the home boasts a car lift that would make James Bond green with envy. It also features a cinema and indoor leisure complex with swimming pool and sauna – perfect for unwinding after nerve-wracking performances.

How much does it cost to rent?

The property was last listed for rent in February for a whopping £20,000 a month, according to Zoopla.

What about to buy?

You'll need to have deep pockets to afford this house or even a big mortgage on it. It was previously listed for sale on Zoopla in 2013 for £7m  and prices have risen considerably since then.
