I decided to join Ian in starting Avocado as I believe there is a gaping hole between estate agents and the public which only a few good agents ever manage to bridge. In Australia there is a saying that jokes about your Estate Agent being so important you'll leave them to your kids in your Will. I wanted to work somewhere that gave agents that platform, I couldn't find that company so decided we had to do it ourselves.

I started in Estate Agency in 2003, I fell in love with the industry very quickly, put the hours in and climbed the ladder from a trainee to a Sales Managing Director. My focus for this industry is very simple – change everything. Estate Agency is out-dated, the marketing is poor and most clients don’t get value for money.
