John Francis has 20  residential offices and 4 lettings departments. Our commercial department is a specialised department based in Narberth and covers West Carmarthenshire including Carmarthen town itself, Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion. We are backed by Countrywide, the largest and most successful estate agency group in the UK. Carmarthen office is situated in the centre of Carmarthen. The oldest town in Wales with its historical castle looking down over the Towy River famed for its Salmon/Sewin fishing across Europe. Four full time members of staff, with two part time members are based here. The office covers one of the largest areas and is one of three offices covering Carmarthenshire. Labelled as The Garden of Wales, as soon as you’ve visited or lived in the area it’s easy to see why. A large area fronts onto Carmarthen Bay, the large beaches of Pembrey and Pendine (7 miles long), to the lesser equally beautiful Llansteffan and Ferryside. All are connected by a coastal path constructed for the enjoyment of all whilst walking or cycling. Ancient castles look after our landscapes with lush green valleys below and rivers meandering through flowing to the sea. Plenty of leisure activities include mountain biking and bike trails, horse riding, kayaking, white water rafting, gorge walking, the list is endless. For the less energetic people there are many eateries in the area, too numerous to mention. Llandeilo town well known for its slow food rather than fast food outlets. Attractions include the wetlands in Llanelli, Ffos Las horse racing course, National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens to name but a few. If you’re still unsure of where you want to live, then the Dyfed Powys Police area is the biggest in the country with the lowest crime rates also.
