Welcome to Bute Property, the only dedicated estate agency practice on the beautiful Island of Bute. Bute Property was established in 1979 and is situated in a prime location in the main retail thoroughfare of Rothesay Town Centre, ideal to catch all passing trade. Bute Property is run by Fiona Cameron who has previous property experience on the Island and took over the business in 2012. Fiona was born and brought up on the Island and is therefore well placed to provide expert, local knowledge to anyone wishing to sell or buy a property on the island. Fiona also has extensive experience of working in the property market on the mainland, having worked in Glasgow for 11 years prior to returning to the island in 2005. Corinne Planck and Leeanne Queen, both of whom were born and brought up on Bute, assist Fiona in the day to day running of Bute Property. The Island of Bute is 15 miles long by 4 miles wide and is situated on the West Coast of Scotland enjoying breath-taking scenery, fabulous wildlife and magnificent walks in the form of the West Island Way. The island is easily accessible and less than an hour’s drive from Glasgow City Centre/Glasgow Airport and also Prestwick Airport. With Caledonian MacBrayne ferries, MV Bute & MV Argyle, your island experience begins the moment you step on board for this relaxing 35 minute journey across The Clyde to our beautiful island. There is also another smaller ferry at the north end of the island which is literally a 5 minute crossing and is the gateway to the rest of Argyll. On your arrival, there are many boutique style shops, bistros, cafes, bars and restaurants to visit. The island also boasts 3 golf courses, Rothesay Golf Course is the only 18 hole golf course, Kingarth on the south side of the island, is a 9 hole links course and Port Bannatyne is as 12 hole course.
