Hilton Smythe are delighted to present to the market a new and exciting Burger brand named the ‘Store Burger’ established by our client in mid 2017 and reluctantly offered for sale due to the expansion of their young family.
The brand design, menu and location were carefully planned by our client 2 years ago and any new buyer will be able to capitalise on the unique business model new to Margate.
The standard of the store, design and materials creates a feel of a branded burger restaurant similar standard to company's like Honest Burger, Bryon Hamburgers, Burger and Lobster, Burgers Brothers and Coggings & Co.
The burger store offers a large vegan menu, dairy free ice cream, local sourced meat and ingredients, almond milkshakes and uniquely for a takeaway 3 cooked hand cut chips!
The menu offers single or double stack burgers, cheeseburger both served in locally made brioche bun, buttermilk chicken strips, minute steak sub, the Jocelyn veg burger, kid’s slider and meal deal, sides include hand cut chips, crispy leeks, fried haloumi, jalapeños, smoked bacon and more.
Patties are 100% pure blended beef from Goldstone Farm, Ash in East Kent.
Desserts - iced sourdough Amish doughnuts and almond milkshakes.
Cold drinks - coke, San Pellegrino, Chegworth Valley fresh apple juices and kids fruit juices.
All orders cooked fresh at point of ordering.
Our clients run the business to suit their time available in the summer months with a soft opening in July, there is potential to open all year round, add deliveries through apps such as JustEat, open later (previous takeaway business on this site opened till 3am) and attend more festivals with the outside catering equipment and gazebo included in the sale.
5* hygiene rating
Our client owns the website and but haven't built a site as of yet. In the first summer they gained 700 followers on Instagram and excellent reviews on TripAdvisor.
Store Burger enjoys a highly enviable trading position facing Costa Coffee on Marine Gardens, central Margate.
The busy street leads directly from Margate's seafront attractions and up to the main shopping area with the restaurants, bars, high street stores and banks. Margate is thriving under a boost of government and private investment, improving the seafront and attractions as well as improving the infrastructure and choice of new apartments/houses to buy or rent.
Margate is located on the southeast coast and particularly known for its wide sandy beach, the modern Turner contemporary art gallery and the re-invigorated Dreamland amusement park which is only 2 minutes walk from our client’s business. Margate is 16 miles east of Canterbury and accessed via the A28 and A299 which connects directly onto the M2 motorway.
