Hawick is situated in the historic county of Roxburghshire and is the largest town in the Scottish Borders with a population of approximately 14,300 people. It is situated fifty miles south-west of Edinburgh and eighteen miles south of Galashiels, where the Borders Railway provides a direct rail connection with Scotland’s capital.

The town is located on the banks of the River Teviot and enjoys good road links to Scotland’s central belt via the A7 trunk road, connecting Hawick with Edinburgh and the M6 at Carlisle some 45 miles south.

The subjects are situated just off Weensland Road (A698) which is 1.1 miles to the north-east of the town centre.

The subjects comprise a detached building of traditional stone construction with a brick extension and a pitched metal profile sheet roof. The plot extends to approximately 0.85 acre.

Two units, 1A and 1B, are contained within providing a mixture of workshop and storage accommodation. Unit 1B benefits from a side door customer entrance.

There is yard parking to the front of the units although a portion is reserved for exclusive parking in front of Unit 1A.

In addition, there is a grassed area to the west of the yard which may be suitable for further development subject to securing the necessary planning consents.

According to our recent measurement survey the subjects comprise the following approximate gross internal areas:

Unit 1A - 309 sq m (3,325 sq ft)
Unit 1B - 210 sq m (2,260 sq ft)
