Summary
The Endeavour is one of only two exact replicas of the World-Famous Endeavour, the ship Captain Cook used to discover the world in the 18th Century.
Currently Whitby’s most visual and iconic tourist attractions, the Endeavour can be relocated anywhere in the world and used for whatever purpose the new owner chooses.
Currently a visitor attraction with hospitality, the Endeavour is suitable for many different purposes...
Independent Marine Valuation of £1.8m asset value
Opportunity
A piece of history that could well be your future.
The Endeavour is currently a tourist attraction, moored in Whitby harbour, the birthplace of Captain Cook. The replica is a visitor attraction with hospitality offering.
The three decks offer a capacity for up to 250 people and can be used for private functions.
The Endeavour could be relocated to any other city with suitable moorings.
Location
Captain Cook was born near to Whitby, where the ‘Endeavour’ is currently moored, however, Captain Cook explored much of the world, and as such this fantastic boat would be at home and welcome on many ports and countries around the world.
Please note that this ship is a ‘seaworthy’ replica only, it can not sail, nor does it have a motor. It must be towed or transported.
Internal Details
‘Top Deck’ - dedicated to seating, current capacity is for 80, however this can be used further. There is also the opportunity to install a bar on the top deck.
‘Main Deck’ – the visitor attraction and seating area with a bar. Many original internal features are replicated here, included the captains table at the helm of the ship.
‘Lower Deck’ – the hospitality area, commercial kitchen, bar and seating for 100 people.
Please see the attached floorplans.
Development Opportunity
Whilst the ‘Endeavour is currently used as a visitor centre, tourist attraction and hospitality venue, the potential uses go far beyond that –
Private Dwelling
Holiday Let
Educational Experience
Travelling Restaurant
Party Boat
Casino
Wedding Venue
Tenure
