Property description

Do you want space? Well there is plenty of it here both inside and out. In fact there are 3 double bedrooms, 2 reception rooms and a conservatory. What about modern fittings? Well there is a nearly new kitchen and bathroom for a start plus double glazing and gas central heating. Like a large garden? You can tick that box as well with the great size plot. What about a quiet location? Would a position at the end of a small cul de sac, where you are not directly overlooked be of interest? In fact this detached chalet bungalow has so much to offer we don't know where to begin but come and see for yourself.

Ground Floor
The entrance door at the side of the property opens into a hallway with stairs to the left leading up to the first floor. Directly on your right is the fully tiled modern bathroom which has been recently updated and features a jacuzzi style bath with a glass screen and overhead shower, a wash basin in a vanity unit with storage, low level wc, dual fuel radiator and downlights to the ceiling all designed to add that touch of luxury. The lounge at the end of the hallway has a feature fireplace housing a living flame gas fire and a large window overlooking the attractive front garden. The separate dining room with its large window looking onto the conservatory has a door leading through to the newly fitted kitchen. The kitchen with its high gloss units and ample worksurfaces is a real joy to look at whilst being practical at the same time. A single drainer sink unit sits under the window with views over the rear garden, integrated appliances include an electric hob with stainless steel extractor hood, eye level electric oven, fridge freezer. A door takes you into the conservatory which is perfect for sitting and enjoying the garden throughout the year. Finally on the ground floor there is the master bedroom with a range of fitted wardrobes and drawer units.

First Floor
From the hallway the stairs lead up to the first floor landing with built in storage cupboards. The larger of the two double bedrooms is at the front of the property with a window overlooking the landscaped garden and built in storage cupboards, whilst the other double bedroom which also has a built in storage cupboard is at the back with views over the rear garden. The layout and style of the property could allow for more space to be created with the potential for a bath/shower room (subject to permission).

Outside Space
Without doubt one of the properties best features is the size of the gardens which are definitely a pleasant surprise. The attractively landscaped front garden which greets you as you approach the property is a mixture of hard landscaping interspersed with pretty shrubs and plants. A tarmaced driveway allows parking for a number of cars and leads to a detached single garage with a side gate opening into the large rear garden. The garden has a large paved patio leading to a good size lawn with a timber shed at the end next to a secluded seating area perfect for catching the afternoon sun.

In The Neighbourhood
Tucked away at the end of the close which is off Watkin Lane there is plenty to be pleased about with the location of the bungalow. A short walk takes you to the station with trains into Preston City Centre and buses run along the main road as well. The excellent shopping area of Lostock Hall with its supermarket and variety of independent shops is easily reached and there are numerous restaurants and pubs in the area.

Around and About
One of the best features about this area is how accessible you are to everything, the City Centre is in easy driving distance as is Leyland, with the motorway network just a few minutes drive away even at busy times. There are a number of large supermarkets in the area and open countryside is not far away.

What We Like...
We were really surprised about the space that this detached chalet bungalow has and we think you will be to. But its not just inside that impressed us it was the size of the gardens as well. This is a real one off property and we think there is even more potential if a buyer wants something more.
