The picturesque village of Goring on Thames situated on the Oxfordshire/Berkshire borders, lies in the ‘Goring Gap’, which is an historic crossing point of the River Thames set between the Chiltern Hills and the Berkshire Downs on the opposite side of the river above Streatley.
